A NEW DANGER — Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) is furious when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tries to control him by putting Matt’s (Zach Roerig) life in danger. Damon (Ian Somerhalder) coaches Jeremy as he prepares to take on Klaus’ new vampires, but they find that Kol (guest star Nathaniel Buzolic) has beaten them to it. Kol makes it clear that he will stop at nothing to convince everyone to give up the search for the cure. Looking for a new ally, Rebekah (Claire Holt) reminds Stefan (Paul Wesley) that they were once close friends. When Sheriff Forbes (Marguerite MacIntyre) and Mayor Hopkins (guest star Rick Worthy) question Shane (guest star David Alpay) about his involvement in the Founders’ Council deaths, Bonnie (Kat Graham) steps in with questions of her own, and Shane’s responses push Bonnie to the edge of her powers. Elena (Nina Dobrev) negotiates with Klaus to keep Jeremy safe, but when danger suddenly appears from a totally unexpected enemy, Elena comes up with her own daring plan for Jeremy. John Dahl directed the episode written by Brian Young & Michael Narducci (#411).

So, why can't we see Bonnie practicing magic then? It's like Bonnie is being even further marginilized because people complained too much about Bonnie's magic being the magic save to every problem. And now, we never see Bonnie.

And yeah, Caroline said to Elena: "...and I know I'm your best friend" or something like that.

And why is April in this scene? It should've been a Bonnie/Elena/Caroline scene. SMH.

Did Klaus compel Stefan or is he now so cray-cray??? I know he was a sociopath but this is a new level.

Yeah either the writers really want us to think she is sire-bonded and trick us in the end or they are really bad at foreshadowing. That stuff with the red and blue dress was weird.
And that´s the reason it was in the synopsis or what? Because it points to that sirebond?

EDIT: And that was Gabby´s guest starring? Bringing in flowers for half a second?

In a real tv show with actual writers instead of hacks, Stefan's godfathering of Jeremy right there would lead to Jeremy whacking his ass at some point...

see Jeremy lacing Damon's liqour with vervain and having a stake, and then proceeding to tell him about it and warn him after Damon killed him.
